I think tourists in the city of Pontianak.
Hello all I will tell you that travel in the city of Pontianak, maybe just a bit of my writing.

1. Kraton Kadriah

Built in 1771 by Sultan Syarif Abdurrahman Alqadrie which is the first sultan of the Sultanate of Pontianak, located in Jalan Sultan Kadriah Tritura, Pontianak. The building is dominated by yellow and made of wood purchases, timber in Borneo, known as ironwood because of its strength.

In the yard, there are relics of ancient cannons Japanese and Portuguese. While in the building, you can see the sultan's throne and the queen, complete with photographs, clothing sultan and various other collections belonging to the sultan. One of the unique collection is a handwritten Koran itself by Sultan Syarif Abdurrahman Alqadrie.

2. Rumah betang radakng

Betang Radakng is a replica of the traditional house of Dayak in West Kalimantan which was constructed by the city government in Jalan Sultan Sjahrir, Kota Baru, Pontianak. A mainstay attractions of this city government won a record as the longest custom homes in Indonesia. The length of this house reach 138 meters with a width of 5 meters and a height of 7 meters.

This house has a characteristic shape of a long stilt house. More family members then the length of the house betang because Dayak choose to live with all his family members in the home.

Betang consists of three parts, namely a patio or Pante, lobby space which is used to gather the whole family and sleeping space or chamber which is a private space each family.

3. Museum Kalimantan Barat
Museum Kalimantan Barat

This museum is also known as the Museum of Pontianak. This historical sights located in Jalan General Ahmad Yani, Pontianak. The museum is divided into three zones which have three different collections. Starting from artefacts findings in western Borneo, a collection of royal objects, art craft and culture of Dayak tribe, to a collection of ceramics from China.

Outside the museum building, there is a small garden with a wooden bridge that is often used as a location photo by visitors. The museum is open every Tuesday through Thursday, at 8 a.m. to 16:00 and Friday to Sunday, hours 08:00 to 15:00. Monday, travel right is closed.
